Ralitsa Tcholakova is a gifted international concert violinist and violin/viola teacher, impresario and promoter of Canadian culture domestically and internationally. Of particular interest to Ralitsa is raising awareness of the contribution women composers and performers have made to Canada and the world which she has done via her CDs, concerts, lectures, teaching and other performances. She has also been prominent in the movement to achieve reconciliation with Canada’s Indigenous peoples through the power of music. Finally she has become the go-to person for the Canadian political and diplomatic elites seeking to add a cultural dimension to their cultural events in Ottawa.
